Healthy Aging and Longevity
With advanced training and experience working with people with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and cancer, Sharon has additional skills and sensitivities in working with older adults.
As we age on a physical level, muscle mass is reduced, our balance may be compromised and our joints may stiffen.
Resistance training with bands and weights strengthen our muscles and builds muscle and bone mass, stretching keeps our bodies flexible, limber and supple.
Socialization plus stimulation through physical and coordination challenges, improves neuroplasticity, promoting brain health and improving our moods.
Join a class at the Great Neck Social Center.
